Located in Pleasant Point just 15 minutes inland from Timaru, the butchery is one of many locally owned and operated businesses.

About Barry & Lynda Wilson

They bought the business in 1989. Starting off with just one full-time butcher alongside Barry while wife Lynda managed the store front.  They now have expanded the business taking on a home-kill butcher, full-time butcher, and two part-time shop assistants in addition to themselves.

They offer a range of services/ in house products including:

  • Wood fire spits for Functions/Catering
  • On Farm Home-kill
  • Gourmet Sausages
  • Salami
  • Haggis
  • Private processing
  • Processing for Recreational Hunters
  • Christmas Hams/ Turkeys
